Having been named after legendary American writer Ernest Hemingway, the Hemingway series cigar lives on the legacy of the perfecto or shaped cigar. Perfecto cigars were a lost art that were popular in the early 30s until it was resurrected by Carlos Fuente Sr. from a trip to Florida. After he stumbled onto the schematics in a warehouse, he educated his best roller on how to recreate this classic cigar using Dominican filler tobacco, Dominican binder, and a West African Cameroon Wrapper.
